Course Overview:
Understanding the Electric Business explains the structure and business dynamics of today's fast-changing industry. You will learn who the players are, why facilities are built to satisfy customer needs, what the costs are to build these facilities, what influences those costs and how electricity and related services are priced to the consumer.
 
This course is one of the required courses for directors working towards the NRECA Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD).
 
Course Schedule:
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. The class will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and conclude by 4:30 p.m. Lunch, along with morning and afternoon breaks, are included in the class cost.
